Cochrane Drugs and Alcohol Group

Welcome to the web site of the Cochrane Collaborative Drugs and Alcohol Review Group (CDAG). The CDAG, formed in 1998, has the editorial base in Rome at the Department of Epidemiology of ASL RM E.

As part of the Cochrane collaboration, the group is aimed to produce and disseminate systematic reviews of trials on the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of the problematic use of drugs and alcohol. These reviews are published quarterly on The Cochrane Library and are updated periodically to incorporate new research as it becomes available.

To date the Group published 45 reviews and 15 protocols and registered 17 titles

The Group also maintain a specialised register of trials relevant to the scope of the group’s work.
